So ends another season of one the most popular shows on television. The Walking Dead ends closing a lot of doors that have been left open for a number of seasons but what’s troubling is a hanger door has just opened. If there’s one constant in the world of the zombie apocalypse is that human beings that are alive turn out to be far worse than the zombies infesting the earth. People believed that we had seen the worse with the infamous governor and his vicious tactics. However when this season started it turned out that the group of cannibals residing in Terminus would surpass the governor but now we have the vicious group behind the “W.”
For those of you who still haven’t seen the finale, don’t worry I’m not going to spoil anything but I will say that the “W” is revealed in the finale. Another thing that’s been going on is the season is the surprising return of the alluring Morgan who has been hot on Rick’s trail since he found the map for Rick left for him in the church. As many have concluded, Morgan is going to show his face and when he does you can bet it’s going to be awesome. For those of you that have been keeping track, the finale is mostly about the events of the last episode with the group deciding on Rick’s fate in Alexandria. During the events of the day, Rick spends most of the finale reflecting on his actions and how best he can make things right.
The side stories revolve around the group both for and against Rick. The other story revolves around the fabulous adventures of Daryl and Aaron as they search for survivors. While on the hunt, they come across what would look like to be a gold mine of food but sadly it turns out to be something much worst. I know that people are nervous around this time in a season because quite frankly everyone is in love with Daryl and nobody wants to see a riot. If you want to find out who lives and who dies then you’ll have to see the finale, as previously stated I’m not spoiling anything. It was overall terrific ending with virtually every cut off to a commercial ending as a cliffhanger and the ending was bitter sweet none the less.
So now that this season is over the only question is what exactly will happen now that everything has come to fruition. All I can say is that it will most likely be about the “W.” What does that mean exactly? Well we all thought we had seen the worst of humanity with Terminus but it turns out that what’s coming next will somehow be more evil. We get a preview of it in the finale but it was already a mouth full considering what happened and how we came to come across it. No doubt that when Rick and the people of Alexandria come across it, they’re going to be seeing all hell coming at them which is remarkable considering what’s happened to the group already.
Will Alexandria survive? I highly doubt it because if there is another constant in the world of the walking dead it’s that no place is ever safe. For those that don’t follow, Rick and his group had formerly resided in a prison surrounded by steel and stone and even that couldn’t save them. All that’s really protecting Alexandria is an extremely high wall with one tower for a lookout. Nothing ever changes and walls fall so I have no doubt that next season will bring death and destruction to those walls. When those walls do fall hopefully everyone will be ready for what’s ahead. The "W" is coming and it's going to bring a horror that we have not seen yet and that's saying something. Fear the living, not the dead.

The X-Files Returns!
The X-Files are coming back! The classic sci-fi show that
dominated the rating in the 90s is making a return with Fox ordering a six
episode launch. A show that launched the careers of David Duchovny and Gillian
Anderson also known as agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully. With a terrific story
line and unique direction, X-Files
became an instant must watch every night kind of show. For people who love
mysteries, aliens or both then this was your show back in the 90s. Much like Star Trek it wasn’t received at first
but after the word got out, the fans started to become addicted. If you haven’t
watched an episode then you can catch it on Netflix, you have nine seasons to catch
up on.
Nine seasons of Mulder and Scully tracking down alien
conspiracies and following up leads that helps Mulder come to the conclusion
that not only do aliens exist but they live amongst us. Not only are they
living amongst us but have been long before and it’s up to the famous duo to
track them down. A show that spawned two movies in 90s and 2008, a gap so big
that it proves people still want to believe in extraterrestrials. If you can
count on one thing with this act by Fox, it’s going to be the last chance to
revive the show that fans have been asking for. For me, I’m just excited
because I get a chance to see Scully and Mulder together again because their
chemistry was off the charts.
Like Tony and Ziva on the hit show NCIS, Mulder and Scully had the perfect relationship with Mulder
being the believer and Scully thinking he’s crazy. Throughout the series, these
two came together like the opposite ends of magnets but just when you think
something will happen, one of them pulls away. These two were a fantastic match
and what’s a real kick to the stomach is fans waited forever for them to hook
up. They ended up having a baby together near the end of the run and while
circumstances arose on how Scully got pregnant, most believed that Mulder
fathered the child though the creators denied the claim. Whether or not it is
true, you can’t deny that the fire burning between them was so intense that you
could melt tank armor with it and make a sculpture with it.
It’s the biggest tease in television history so will they
finally make a move on each other when the show comes back? I highly doubt it
but regardless, it will bring back good memories to see them together again and
hopefully won’t be for only six episodes. It’s a new time where countless of
important events have happened since the show ended so there’s a lot of
material they can use. For this show to be successful, it’s going to need more
than the famous eerie opening theme music and dark tone that the show always
set. We’ll have to see what happens when the show comes back after the release
of their last film X-Files: I Want to
Believe. No launch dates have been announced yet but no matter how long the
wait is, it’s not going to be soon enough.

Frozen Sequel Coming Soon!
Well we all saw this coming and Disney has finally made it
official that Frozen, the animated musical
feature that smashed box office records will return in the near future. A
heartwarming story about two sisters, Elsa and Anna that reignited Disney
Animated Studios is coming back and fans have rejoiced. No word yet on an official title or when the film will be released
but even if it were to come out next month, it still would be too long a wait.
It shouldn’t be a surprise if Disney is able to get all the original cast members
and songwriters back on board considering the phenomenal success of the first
movie. A movie that most were considering to be a in and out movie from Disney
Animated Studios.
When it comes to Disney, they bought animation icon Pixar
for a reason and that reason is they’re the top of the mark when it comes to
animation. Disney Animated Studios on the other hand however has been known for
its failures such as Mars needs Moms
and its movies that have left theaters as soon as they arrived such as Planes. Frozen is the first movie to
break the barrier costing the studio only 150 million to make and at the end
grossing a worldwide income of 1.3 billion. Since its release in 2013, the
franchise continues to bring in revenue for Disney through video sales, streaming,
merchandising and the soon to come Broadway musical.
Frozen is a
musical focusing on Elsa who has the power to freeze anything but like getting
bit by a spider at a young age, an incident happens that makes her afraid to
use her powers. During the years trying to spend years containing her powers,
her sister Anna tries to enjoy life while her sister hides in fear. When Elsa’s
powers start to overcome her, Anna struggles to help her sister find a way and
their village that suffers the side effects of Elsa’s powers. Along the way,
the cast is introduce to a list of loveable characters included the much
beloved Olaf, the living snowman. If you haven’t seen it then please do because
it’s very entertaining and unique.
The film is unique because it stands alone in one aspect. It’s
the only Disney film where there’s a Disney princess and yet no male-lead to
come in to save the day. Unlike most Disney films involving a princess, there’s
usually a male lead in the form of a prince or a thief but in this film the
only support Elsa gets is from her sibling. The reason for this is because the
ultimate cure for Elsa’s fear of her powers is love and there is no greater
love than the love from your family. That’s what makes this film unique because
it promotes the importance of family more than anything else.

A Murder for a Murder: September 11th 2026
This is the synopsis for my short story A Murder for a Murder: September 11th 2026 available now for print and Amazon Kindle.
A day of remembrance turns into a dark reminder as once again there is a terrorist attack on the 25th anniversary of September 11th. A group of civilians, including the Mayor of New York are being held hostage. Threatened by a group of terrorists that have been plotting the attack for years with deadly intentions in mind. Being held for a ransom, the President of the United States will be forced to make a choice. Will he give in to the demands of a murderer or do something so radical, it would change the very image of what America stands for.
The events of this date will bring back feelings from the first 9/11 attacks like anger and sorrow as well as desires for revenge and retribution. All eyes now focus on a president who decides to make a radical move that throws everyone into uncharted waters. How will the world respond to these actions and most importantly, will it strengthen or weaken the nation he’s sworn to protect? Who will rise with the sun on September 12th when the deadline is met? Policies will be challenged, people will be conflicted, and a nation will remember that terrorism only needs a time, a place, and the most important thing of all…casualties.
The attacks on 9/11/01 was the darkest day I ever had and I wrote this as a reminder that freedom will always have enemies. Thank you for your contribution and your support. This is my first book to start off a long and hopefully successful career so I sincerely hope that you enjoy reading this story as I have creating it. A special thank you to the military for keeping us safe and making sure that another 9/11 doesn't happen again. Until the next is written.
